Separation of Pedestrians and Machine – Tour of Toyota Western Canada PDC Jan 23, 2026

Toyota Motor Corporation of Japan in 2022 challenged their entire network to improve safety by reducing interactions between people and machines on the warehouse floor. This was no small task—space constraints and process changes made it a significant challenge here at WCPDC.

Despite these obstacles, our team rose to the occasion. By keeping people safe while elevating our culture to a new level. This achievement reflects their commitment to continuous improvement and the belief that safety is the foundation of operational excellence.

Jeremy Lane and his team shared that journey and the lessons they learned along the way with members of Logistics BC.
