RAD Torque Tour – March 2026

RAD Torque Systems is the leading manufacturer of pneumatic, battery-powered, and electronic pistol grip torque wrenches. RAD products have proven to be successful all over the world in such industries as oil and gas, mining, aerospace, wind power and manufacturing.  On March 18th, LogisticsBC had the privilege of touring Rad Torque’s state of the art, 60,000 square foot manufacturing facility in Abbotsford, BC to learn about this quality product and the complex systems required to assemble it.  Pat, Sean and Navneet were gracious hosts, as they conducted a fascinating tour, while explaining the evolution and success of this company that was started in the owner’s garage 32 years ago and has now grown into a global provider.  With a staff of 170 associates, the team not only manages the complex design and engineering of the product and operate the elaborate machining equipment, they also hand craft the tool to deliver a torquing device that is smaller, faster, and more durable than that of their competition.

All in all, it was a fantastic tour, we all learned a lot and we are truly thankful for RAD’s kind and generous hospitality!
